I am reviewing all information that will assist me in helping our veterans obtain community employment. It is important I familiarize myself with the law on disabilities.

I would like to know more about businesses that have job openings for the hearing-impaired in the Los Angeles and mid cities areas here in California. I presently work for a school district, but with the recent gradual hearing loss, I prefer and require a more quieter work environment as I am very sensitive to the noise levels of the classrooms and the like. It is fairly stressfull working in an environment that causes headaches, ear aches(drums). I do use a captel telephone for effective communication, also the light signal device to alert me that the phone is ringing as I have profound severe hearing loss. I would greatly appreciate any information that you could offer. Thank-You for your time in this matter, and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

I am very excited about what your firm is doing for people with disabilities. As an international banking professional with a disability, I am very eager to advocate for helping professionals with disabilities enhance their careers. I believe that there are plenty of folks with disabilities who are well qualified to make it in the higher ranks of corporations. However, I think that there needs to be a sea change in corporate cultures to create a sensitivity to the vast talent pool out there. I believe the efforts being made by The Sierra Group can help that change to begin. Bravo! Sincerely, Russell L. Crane, MBA Smyrna, Delaware
