I have severe chronic pain with anxiety and depression. I have been on disability for three years. I am 56 so not exactly yount, but I have my MBA with a 3.91 average (I finished in 2001 and shortly after the fibromyalgia got worse.) I live on SS benefits and long term disability from my employer, Dominion Nuclear. Don't know what I can do but wanted you to know many people out of work may be educated and just dealing with pain. I am still paying off bills from losing a decent job.

I sure hope there is someone out there to help with work from home and learning and training people like myself, and stick with us. To many people forget us after they start helping us and not following through with promises they make to disabled people.people like myself that don't live in cities and can't work full days because of the illness, then they feel like they are worth nothing anymore. sure hope there's is help somewhere

I would like to know more about businesses that have job openings for the hearing-impaired in the Los Angeles and mid cities areas here in California. I presently work for a school district, but with the recent gradual hearing loss, I prefer and require a more quieter work environment as I am very sensitive to the noise levels of the classrooms and the like. It is fairly stressfull working in an environment that causes headaches, ear aches(drums). I do use a captel telephone for effective communication, also the light signal device to alert me that the phone is ringing as I have profound severe hearing loss. I would greatly appreciate any information that you could offer. Thank-You for your time in this matter, and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
